Steps may be taken to recover approximately $1.9 million in loans allegedly owed to the Students’ Loan Bureau (SLB) by the former executive director Lenice Barnett, according to finance minister Audley Shaw.The Chairman Andrew Cocking and board of the Students’ Loan Bureau have resigned following the termination of Lenice benett. He and his fellow board members submitted their resignations to Shaw, which he accepted.
