Patois version of the Book of Luke becomes available at book stores today. Launched yesterday at the Portmore Gospel Assembly in Passagefort, St Catherine.The team from the Bible Society "talk up the t'ings dem" in Patois, sang and prayed up a storm in the Jamaican language.This could be a referendum on the likely success of the project to translate the Bible into Jamaican Creole.
