Executive Director of the Students Loan Bureau, Lenice Barnett, made some startling revelations in parliament yesterday that could force thousands of college students & their empathizes on the streets. She says tuition costs could double next year when the government cuts its subvention by 20% to 60%. This means that tuition fees will soar to nearly half of a million dollars per annum in less than two years.
This is a conspiracy to keep the masses poor and uneducated so that they are able to bought out easily and controlled with little effort. A certain govt minister went to UWI last semester and basically discounted the value of higher learning by saying that some members of govt don't have a university degree and they are able to effectively run the country and manage their portfolios (really now!!!) And ppl wonder why we are considered third world. Retrograde steps will result in retrograde results. (and then them talk seh dem serious bout crime)
