Vybz Kartel is not a freemason. No lodge in Jamaica would accept him as he does not meet the requirement for membership of being a person of good repute. Also, Kartel's claim that he is a freemason and the fact that he wears a freemason's ring is inconclusive as anyone can claim to be a freemason and a masonic ring can be bought by anyone (amazon.com has masonic rings for as low as $15). Furthermore, no freemason would intentinally portary freemasonry in a negative light as Kartel has done with him relating it to evil. All of the above reasons indicate to me that Kartel is using persons unwarranted fear of freemasonry to further his claim that he is evil. However, not all of us are so easily fooled...

The lodge won't waste its time challenging Kartel's claim and giving him more publicity at its expense but if anyone expresses Kartel's lodge membership to a real lodge member, that person will be laughed at.....trust me!

ReplyDeletethats just in the close-up photo but if u carefully look at the pic with him in the khaki you'll all realize that the ring is right side up. my conclusion, a person cannot really use how a ring is positioned on one's finger to determine if he's apart of this cult or not.
