RED CARD Lukovic is off as he concedes a second bookable offence for a really soft tackle and Serbia down to 10 men. Ghana wins as Gyan settles the match with his solitary goal in the 84th minute,Serbia seemed to find courage after going down to 10 men but Ghana were gifted a penalty in the closing stages of the match, and Gyan duly stepped up to receive it as he sent the keeper the wrong way to give the the 'black stars' their victory. Serbia 0-1 Ghana.

Germany records an emphatic opening Group D victory as they dispatched 10 man Austrailia with ease as goals from Podolski and Klose in the 1st half set the foundation for an easy win and with the sending off of Tim Cahill in the 2nd half produced a fine display capped off by goals from Muller and substitute Cacau sealed Germany's dominance over their down-under rivals. Germany 4-0 Australia
