THE St Andrew North Police last night confirmed the arrest of dancehall entertainer Rodney Pryce aka Bounty Killer.
Deputy Superintendent Altermoth Campbell, anti-crime boss at the Constant Spring Police Station, said the entertainer was picked up after a female companion turned up at the station bleeding and reported that he had assaulted her.
The incident occurred at his Oakland Apartments residence in St Andrew, police said.
"She turned up here sometime after six and said that he used a hammer to beat her up," Campbell said, adding that the woman was badly bruised and scarred when she reported the incident.
He said that Pryce has been arrested and charged with wounding, and that he is in custody. He said Pryce should go before the courts sometime this week. In April this year, Pryce spent two weeks behind bars after being arrested by the Constant Spring police for beating up his girlfriend. At the time, police reported that while Pryce was being processed he called the woman and threatened her life in their presence. The complainant, Kadeem Baker, eventually dropped the charges against Pryce.

A child who grows up witnessing abuse sometimes replicate the behavior. His dad, God rest his soul, had a nimble hand n his son is walking in his footsteps. 4 all the ppl walking behind Bounty saying "ALLIANCE", not saying anything is just as bad as condoning it. Support him with your concerns and suggestions instead of a cup waiting 4 him 2 pour u hennessy. How ironic the word Alliance means change (according 2 Killa dictionary) but Bounty refuses 2 do just that.
well it is simple if this girl was aware of his propensity to beat women (and everybody and them mother know that) then she get what she is lookng for. Who in them right mind steps out into the path of a moving truck knowing very well if it hit them it is really going to hurt like a bitch? Tek the rass lick and keep quiet man!!!

Bounty locked his babymother in his car trunk, take her to his house n beat the baby out of her. Is that wat a woman shud c as a gud catch?. Love limelight n fame, it comes with a price. Many of these girls wud not look at Rodney if he wasn't who he is.

The justice system doesn't make it easy for women to report abuse in jamaica if the man is a celebrity "term used lightly" the further he dips into his pocket is the blinder, police, judge n lawyers get, so some women don't bother n it's a shame

I have witnessed 2 many things with Rodney with my own 2 eyes n believe me if he's not guilty of this,(I believe he is)he is guilty of worse thingz that he was not been remanded for. ReplyDeleteover the past year i have stayed with rodney while he played around with other girls in front of me, i hav stayed with him tru the whole kadeem incident and i stayed with him when he lost his vehicles. recently i decided that i have had ENOUGH! i decided to walk away, i really do love him, its really hard to explain but i do, i would do anything for him at this stage, when i woke up sunday morning i had to turn off my phone, all my friends were calling me to find out if it was me who was at his mercy, im glad i walked away when i did, im pregnant now by him and im gonna raise my child on my own, im done with rodney and it feels so fucking GOOOOD!

Wen him nice he is a saint but wen him lose it "summen a guh happen". So I do empathize with the women u get involved with him. Beneath the wrench up face he is a teddy bear but on the flip side, the reality is he is not well n he is not safe 2 be around.This time it's a hammer next time it might be a gun n a coffin
