Tesha Miller, Justin’s son accused of punching cop

POLICE have accused reputed Clansman boss Tesha Miller and Keifa O'Gilvie, son of Tivoli Gardens-based businessman Justine O’Gilvie, of punching a policeman while they were in custody.
Both were denied bail when they appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court today. Miller and O’Gilvie, whose father is a business associate of Christopher 'Dudus' Coke, have been in detention since May and are currently being held under the Emergency Powers Act which is being enforced as a part of the state of emergency.
However, the court was informed that on July 14, a policeman was conducting a routine search of the cell where both accused were being held, when he found a cellular phone in O’Gilvie's possession.
The policeman was reportedly attacked by O'Gilvie and punched several times in his face after he spoke to him about the phone. The officer reportedly took evasive action and tried to ward off O'Gilvie’s attacks when Miller reportedly came to his defense and also punched the officer.
