BRUCE ALMIGHTY, REMOVE THE HALO IT DOESN'T FIT

Prime Minister Bruce Golding yesterday told the congregation of the New Testament Church of God on Water Lane in Montego Bay that the Almighty was moving Jamaica in the right direction and encouraged them to keep praying for the country.


Golding expressed confidence that all was going to be well, notwithstanding the public backlash that his administration has been taking over their handling of the US extradition request for Mr Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.Golding's words came against the background of calls for his resignation following his disclosure that he had sanctioned the hiring of US law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips to lobby the US government with a view to influence the request for Coke.
