The deejay, whose real name is Ewart Everton Brown, was admitted to the Spanish Town hospital after receiving two gunshot wounds to his shoulders.
A close friend of the Portmore-based deejay said that he was shot when he stopped his car to speak to someone in a section of Braeton Phase One. Police reports further claim that the incident occurred about 7 p.m.
Cobra, according to the STAR source, drove himself from the shooting to the hospital.
Several artistes, entertainment personalities and politicians turned up at the hospital after news of the incident began spreading. He is still in hospital and remains in critical condition.
