AIDONIA U EARN BACK URE ALLIANCE STRIPES???
After exiting from the Alliance in 2006, it seems Aidonia has fully reconciled differences he had with Bounty Killer.
In 2006, Aidonia left the Alliance following the footsteps of Vybz Kartel who he used to refer to as 'Addi mi daddy'. However, last year it became obvious that the two were no longer as close as they once were.
Aidonia claimed that he was on a different path and felt the need to concentrate more on his career and his group JOP, instead of other groups. But in recent times, rumours began circulating that the artiste rejoined the Alliance.
Bounty Killer says "Nothing like that. Aidonia is just a friend of the Alliance. We good, we have an understanding but he is not a part of the Alliance. Alliance and JOP is very close
Aidonia sayz "I am not a member of the Alliance and I am not going back into the Alliance. Aidonia seh JOP, Bounty Killer seh Alliance, Mavado seh Gully-Alliance, Elephant seh Alliance. Mi a work wid my artistes to get them out there."
MAVADO N DRIZZY GIVES BACK
Singjay Mavado and international superstar Drake are in the midst of building a learning center in Cassava Piece.
Drake donated US$25,000 (JA$2.15 million) towards the building of the library.
Jullian Mavados' manager said: "Basically Mavado and Drake shot some scenes in Cassava Piece and struck up an immediate rapport with the people there. He thought they showed him a lot of love and he was very down to earth with them and wanted to do something positive."
The idea for the learning center which includes a computer lab and a library, according to Jones-Griffith, was one Mavado had plans for so Drake decided to assist the project.
Drake said "I had a great time when I was in Jamaica and the people of Cassava Piece showed me a lot of love. I just wanted to show back some love by helping out with Mavado's project on the Gullyside. It's a very positive move and something I am very happy to be a part of.Education is the key to life so to be able to assist in that process is very fulfilling.
Two weeks ago Drake gave Mavado his contribution and since then construction has started in Cassava Piece.

VYBZ KARTEL SPENT THE NIGHT @ 100 MAN POLICE STATION LAST NIGHT, HE IS 2 BE QUESTIONED 2DAY.......
Yesterday, Chris Tavares-Finson, who, along with Tom Tavares-Finson and Valerie Neita-Robertson are representing Kartel, expressed hope that the artiste would be released after questioning.
“We are hoping that he will be questioned and released. He’s in good spirits and is confident that he will be out soon. He has indicated that he will give the police his full co-operation,” Tavares-Finson said.
It was not certain if the other men — Omar Lawrence, also called 'Hommie', of Anglin Lane, Newlands, Portmore; Seymour Johnson, otherwise called 'Bulb Eye', of Braeton Phase One; Paul Smith, alias called 'Kerone' and 'Biggs', of Big Lane, Central Village; Oneil Myurrie, also called 'Neily', of Little Lane, Central Village; and Damion Perry, alias 'Tillyman', of Old Harbour Bay — had turned in themselves.
The police have named more than 100 major persons of interest since Prime Minister Bruce Golding announced a State of Public Emergency, limited to Kingston and St Andrew in May. The state of emergency, which was extended to St Catherine last month, gives the police the power to detain persons indefinitely.

GUNMEN yesterday held up workers at the Knollis, St Catherine home of Cabinet Minister Karl Samuda, locked them in a room before making their escape with the MP's shotgun and approximately 100 rounds of ammunition about 12:00 noon.
The men also made off with a quantity of US currency after cutting open a steel safe with a blowtorch, according to the police.
"I really feel violated in a very real way," Samuda, who was not home at the time, told the Observer yesterday.
The robbery came less than 24 hours after Samuda announced that he had met with area leaders in his constituency and informed them that he would not need their help in upcoming election campaigns, even if it cost him his seat.
DIGICEL BLACKMAILED
An alleged attempt to blackmail telecommunications company Digicel of $4 million in cash and $2 million in phone credit and high-end cellphones, has left one man facing the courts.
19-year-old Leon Pryce, is alleged to have threatened to reveal incriminating information about the company if they did not pay him.
His alleged blackmail attempt, however, was not successful and Pryce was arrested and charged with extortion. He appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday and was remanded in custody.
The allegations are that Pryce contacted the company and told representatives that he was in possession of information that would tarnish the company's image locally and overseas. He allegedly said he had contacted a reporter from an overseas newspaper who was willing to pay US$35,000 (J$3,045,000) for the information. He also threatened to publish the information locally.
It is alleged that Pryce demanded the cash, $1million in phone credit and another $1 million in high-end phones, in order to keep the information from the public.
ROLL CALL 4 ADDI...KARTEL STILL A NO SHOW @THE PORTMORE PRECINCT
Vybz Kartel is yet to turn himself in to police, two days after the cops named him as a major person of interest and asked that he report to them.
Kartel twice promised to make himself available this week — promising yesterday and then this morning that he would have reported to the police. But so far he hasn't kept his word.
Kartel could possibly spend a few days to weeks in jail, which could see him missing upcoming performances in Portmore, St Ann, Nassau in The Bahamas and even Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay.
Up until press time late last night, checks with the Greater Portmore (Hundred Man) Police Station revealed that Kartel had still not turned himself in.

FINGERPRINT EMERGENCY
Mad rush on 'fingerprinting office'
THERE is a mad rush now on in downtown Kingston where scores of persons are gathered in front of the Police Certificate Section, popularly known as the 'Fingerprinting Office', trying to renew their police records.
The disgruntled persons are complaining that they were being told by officials at the United States Embassy that persons who had received their records before June were being asked to renew the documents.
They say embassy staff blamed this on a fraud scheme that was closed down by the police recently.
"All now me can't understand what a happen me do me thing the other day and now people a tell me say because a some fraud scheme me have to come do over me document this is unfair," said one man.
Meanwhile police at the office declined to give full details.

KARTEL ARMED W/HIS LAWYERS BY HIS SIDE
DJ Vybz Kartel, plans 2 go 2 the Portmore/South St. Catherine Police headquarters with his lawyers Valerie Neita-Robertson and Tom Tavares Finson this morning. Yesterday he was declared a "major person of interest" along w/5 others.
Kartels' statement ....I, like millions of other Jamaicans, have certain concerns about the violation of my civil rights and liberties during this State of Emergency, however, I will grant the police an audience this morning as they have declared me a "major person of interest", and placed my name on a list populated by alleged criminals.
This is not the first time that the police force has attempted to smear my reputation based on half-baked assumptions and ridiculous rumours, but as it happened then, I know I will be exonerated once again. I have nothing to fear. Fear makes men believe the worst, but I believe in our justice system, however flawed it may be, and in the end, I will be vindicated. I remain confident that the security forces will act with professionalism in this matter.
I have engaged legal counsel to safeguard my rights, and the truth will prevail.
I know I will be exonerated.

ASSAULT CASE ON BOUNTY KILLER DISMISSED THIS MORNING
Rodney ‘Bounty Killa’ Pryce returned to the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court today the assault case against him was dropped.
Pryce was charged after allegedly beating up his girlfriend because she told him she was ending their relationship.
In April Resident Magistrate Georgianna Fraser ordered the couple to seek mediation, after the complainant told the court that she did not want to proceed with the case. Resident Magistrate Fraser insisted that the case should not be dropped but granted a request for the matter to be scheduled for another hearing today. Bounty Killa was arrested on Easter Monday.
Bounty Killa was denied station bail after he reportedly called the complainant in their presence of the police and threatened her while he was being processed at the Constant Spring Station.
COBRAS' 'ALLEGED' SHOOTER GETS BAIL
JAMEEL Johnson, the 23-year-old man charged for shooting local Dancehall artiste Mad Cobra, was yesterday offered $150,000 bail when he appeared in the High Court.
Johnson, also known as ‘Spragga’, was offered bail following an application from his attorney Chris Tavares-Finson. The case against him will next be mentioned on July 17.
Johnson was arrested earlier this month following the May 11 shooting and injuring of Mad Cobra, whose given name is Ewart Brown.
It is being alleged that Johnson was among a group of men in Braeton, St Catherine, involved in the incident where the entertainer was shot several times.
But yesterday, Tavares-Finson said his client had never fired a weapon and that there were no statements given that had implicated him.

DUDUS' ' PRESIDENTIAL UPDATE'
Christopher 'Dudus' Coke should in two months get his hands on some of the evidence that constitutes the legal arsenal of the United States government in its quest to convict him of drug smuggling and the trafficking of illegal guns.
Like his court hearing in Kingston last week, yesterday's session at a Manhattan federal court ran approximately 15 minutes.
Court-assigned attorney Russell Neufeld was accompanied by Coke's potential legal team - Frank Doddato, Steven Rosen and Nicolas Matassini - the latter saying that he would be the frontman of the defence triumvirate if Coke could present proof, in 30 days, that his money was clean.
Matassini said he was the lead counsel in the defence of Norris 'Deedo' Nembhard, a Jamaican who was extradited and convicted of drug-smuggling and money-laundering charges.

NO BAIL 4 DUDUS? WELL PNP SAYING TALK DI TINGZ REGARDLESS
Frank Doddato who is the attorney for suspected drug lord Christopher "Dudus" Coke is admitting that there is a very slim chance in obtaining bail for the former West Kingston strongman who remains in a United States Federal prison.
PNP spokesman on national security Peter Bunting wants a 'Dudus' to spill the beans on all his cronies in the criminal underworld.
"Many persons think that this will be the beginning of another episode if he decides to come clean, and we hope that is what he will do so we can have not just one individual apprehended, but we can have a general housing," Bunting said.
REV AL MILLER STILL SINGING THE SAME TUNE
Reverend Merrick 'Al' Miller is claiming that alleged drug kingpin Christopher 'Dudus' Coke wanted to surrender to the authorities last week in the hope that his decision would bring an end to the gang violence and garrison politics that have for decades blighted the nation.
Miller, who was addressing the congregation at his Fellowship Tabernacle church in St Andrew for the first time since being charged with harbouring a fugitive and perverting the course of justice, said Coke's stance had made him optimistic about the future.
