The Gleaner has reported that a former member of the security forces trained as an explosive expert is the suspected mastermind behind the elaborate defence system established around Tivoli Gardens last week.
Jamaica officially launched the Second Formal Licensing Round [for blocks to explore for oil of the Coast] on March 1 at the Geological Society of London. The licensing round will close March 1 2011.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) Jamaica, in consultation with the Police High Command is advising that all schools will be opened on Monday, May 31 with a few exceptions.
ReplyDeleteSeaga had handed Commissioner MacMillan a list with 13 names (Including 'Dudus') of Tivoli residents whom, it was said, he could not control, at a time when criminal elements were taking hold of the area.

Confirmed: Christopher 'Dudus' Coke's business partner, Justin O'Gilvie, owns a house close to the now deceased Keith Clarke. The Police in their account of the incident,claim they saw someone run from O'Gilvie's house into Clarke's. An investigation is still underway.

Attorney-at-law Bert Samuels, who was questioned on the issue of warrants in extradition matters, said, "From a law-enforcement point of view, the announcement of an arrest warrant can be viewed as a signal to the suspect to take flight, more so in extradition matters, where bail is rarely offered."

"AS the security forces continue their search for Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, nine(9) persons were picked up in a massive operation in East Kirkland Heights, St Andrew, this morning. Two of the nine(9) persons are known to be very close to the West Kingston fugitive."

ReplyDeleteConfirmed: A house in Denham Town was searched and an AK-47 rifle was found along with 7 rounds of ammunition. The female in the house at the time is the common law spouse of one of the men detained by the security forces during their operation in Tivoli Gardens.
Most Corporate Area schools will reopen tomorrow with the exception of schools in West Kingston
