INCREASED NUMBERS OF SNIPERS AT GORDON HOUSE

Security heightened around Gordon House

BRUCE S' WELL REHEARSED PHONY SPEECH N UNACCEPTED APOLOGY....

UNIFORMED and plainclothes security personnel swarmed the vicinity of Gordon House for today's sitting of the House of Representatives less than 24 hours after Prime Minister Bruce Golding announced that authorisation had been given for extradition proceedings to begin again Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.
The security presence appears to have been beefed up to ward off any threats to the security of Members of Parliament who attended this morning's sitting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
There are fears that violence could break out in downtown Kingston, the domain of Coke, who has been indicted by the United States for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and arms trafficking.
From early this morning, security personnel began streaming in on the usually quiet proceedings of the PAC.
The personnel include increased numbers of snipers atop George William Gordon House, with clear views of the entire area around the House, uniformed men and women of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and plainclothes officers.
