In recent weeks, the 'land of wood and water' has been experiencing a shortage of the 'life commodity'. So much so, that the annual event, the official Water Party came under threats of not being held. Due to the current water crisis, promoters decided to go foam.
"The situation was a very sensitive one, we wanted to do our part as promoters and be responsible, so while we had access to water, we decided to hold back. The patrons still enjoyed the event, and we got a record turnout," said Andrew Bellamy a promoter of the event.
"Despite the absence of water, the party was mad, fun, we, as patrons, were understanding of the situation and we just made due of the entertainment package, it was overall fun,"
